Back to 0

 It's been 3 years since I arrived in Mexico. 2020 was hard on most of us. Fortunately health and career wise I didn't have any problems. At the end of the year I did live on a beach side city of around 2 months. I did scuba diving and skydiving. I also visited the mayan pyramids in Chichen Itza. That concluded my bucket list of things to do.

However in terms of my 6 pack abs, I wasn't so fortunate. In the beginning of 2020, I visited my family in India for 2 weeks where I let myself loose, ate lavishly and my waist size tight, reached to 96 cm. Back to the way it was in 2018. 

It was very saddening. Then back in Mexico, I changed my job, my house. The gym being closed due to pandemic, added to the lack of exercise I was getting.  Then around my 30th birthday I started working out at home. I also did some long term fasting. My longest record was 3 days without food (80 hours).
I wanted to reset my immune system to fix my allergies. I think it worked as have less allergic attacks, or may be its because I have been working from home, not sure though.

I joined a gym last month, things are going slow. My diet is still messed up with lots of carbs. I try to eat clean sometimes, but not consistently. Some problems in life and work, make it harder to be disciplined in terms of fitness.

My last post was back in 2019, so I wanted to put an entry today, for the sake of continuity. I have not lost my vision of attaining a good physique. But I think being of age 30+ does make a difference. I don't find lot of energy to party like back in 2019. Recovering from workouts at gym also takes time. Or may be its just psychological, I am not sure.


Below are my current stats:

Waist size : 94 cm.  (Loose) / 92cm(tight). + 3cm
Chest size: 109cm +1cm
Biceps size: 34.5cm (R) / 33.5cm (L) +0.5cm
Thighs size: 61cm (R) / 60cm (L) +3cm
Calves size: 38cm (R) / 37cm (L) +1cm

My strength stats (including bar weight):

Deadlift: 102 Kgs
Bench Press: 65 Kgs
Back Squats: 70 Kgs
Inclined Leg Press: 163 Kgs
Pull-ups : 3 (my weight has gone back to 87 Kgs, making it difficult for pull-ups)
